EYFS and Key Stage One celebrate Easter
and Learning Passports are awarded!
Reception, Year One and Year Two took part in a special Easter assembly on Thursday 6th April 2017 with parents, carers and friends. All classes sang Easter songs and Year 2 told us what Easter is all about and why some people celebrate this Christian festival.
Reverend David Howe joined us and gave us a talk about Easter. He also had the important job of judging the Easter bonnets which children had made at home. We were very impressed with the standard of the bonnets made. They were the best ever!!
During the assembly we also presented learning passport awards to the children who had earned enough credits to collect their bronze or silver awards! Brilliant work everyone!!
Nursery held two special Easter bonnet parades throughout the day with Reception and their bonnets were fabulous, it was very difficult for Mrs Seaton and Mrs Appleton to select two winners each time.
Thank you to everyone who took time to help their child make an Easter bonnet and for joining us in the assembly!
We hope you have had a brilliant Easter holidays.
