Harvest Festivals

Children, staff and families all came together to celebrate Harvest in three special assemblies at the end of the term!

On Tuesday 14th March, Nursery and Reception performed their Harvest assembly twice! The children told the story of 'The Little Red Hen' and sang their favourite songs. 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow' was a particular favouirte with the children and adults!!

On Wednesday 22nd October children from Key Stage One and Key Stage Two performed their favourite Harvest songs and shared Harvest poems and prayers. It was a lovely community event and local minister David Howe joined the school for the assembly.

At all assemblies parents and carers brought food donations which have been given to the local food bank organised by Salcare. We were overwhelmed by the kind and generous donations to help less fortunate families in the local community. Thank you!
