Coppice Primary School Parents, Teachers, Friends, Association
Who are we?
We are a small group of parents and staff who want to support our school.
Chair - Joanne Parkin
Secretary - Jackie Hallam
Treasurer - Miranda Shanley
What do we do?
We are involved in fundraising for the school. In the past we have raised money for school stage production lights, the trim track, safety surfaces for the tyre park, new story sacks for reception children, annual Christmas presents for infants, as well as funding a whole school trip to a Christmas panto, and disco lights and sound systems for the school hall.
This year we are raising funds for a new safety flooring around the tyre park area to ensure that the children continue to enjoy this facility and stay safe.
How do we work?
We meet as a committee on average every 6 weeks, quite informally. It is an opportunity to meet other new parents and to help and support our school.
How can you help?
We are always keen to attract new people who are willing to help. You don’t need any special skills – just a willingness to help us when you can. If you could help us on sports day, or any other events, such as school discos, we would like to hear from you.
The PTFA are hoping to organise a Beetle Drive for Friday February 26th - we would like to make this a family event with a 'pie and pea' supper. Keep checking back for more details - a letter will be sent out shortly to gauge interest in the event. We really hope that you can join us.
If you would like to become involved with the valuable work of the PTFA please call in at the school office.
