On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Coppice Primary School & Nursery.  We are a family orientated inclusive school close to Shipley Park in Heanor.  At Coppice we feel it is very important that home and school work closely together; forming a strong partnership where we can share our expectations and values; develop understanding and celebrate children’s successes.

We believe learning is an adventure and should be fun; engaging and encourage our children to never give up on things they find tricky.  Every child is unique and encouraged to reach their full potential.  

Everyone at Coppice works together to support and enrich each child’s personal growth whether this be academically, physically or pastorally.
