Choir
Choir is open for all children in years 3 to 6.
The choir will start rehearsals for the Young Voices concert in September 2017. Practice will take place afterschool (3.30pm - 4.30pm) on a Wednesday.
We have secured a place at the Young Voices concert at at the Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on Wednesday 17th January 2018.
Now that school has signed up to be a part of Young Voices here are some things to remember:
- You are now part of the largest children’s choir on the planet
- You will be singing in an arena where the world’s biggest stars perform regularly
- You will be one of the actual performers in the show so you need to learn your words, practice all the moves and use a big voice so everyone can hear you
- You will be singing to a sold-out arena: now that's an achievement!
- Most importantly, remember to enjoy every moment!!
Choir concert - Tuesdsay 13th December 2016
On the evening of Tuesday 13th December the choir performed some of their Young Voices songs to family and friends in the school hall. The children did an amazing job singing their hearts out and we cannot wait to see them perform in Sheffield with all the other school choirs!! Thank you to Mrs Cooper and Mrs Appleton who have worked really hard with the children to help them learn all these songs!
