Lunchtimes

At Coppice, children have the opportunity to learn to play together in a range of different environments. Outside there are a number of games led by both Play leaders and Midday staff. 

Children in Years 5 and 6 are trained to be Playground Pals and lead and support their peers.

The library is open at lunchtimes for the pupils to change their library books, listen to a story or a 'Reading Champion' is on hand to listen to children read.

Please see below the new school menu for the next 18 weeks. From October 2025 school sandwiches (ham, cheese, egg or tuna) are available on Tuesday only, pasta pots are available on Monday and Wednesday, and jacket potatoes are available on Thursday and Friday.
