Fox Cubs class visit Kidsley Grange

On Thursday 24th January, our youngest children went on their first visit out of Nursery to Kidsley Grange Care Home for the morning! We travelled by minibus (thank you to Amber Valley Community Transport!) to Kidsley Grange and then the fun started!

Kirsty at Kidsley Grange had arranged lots of fun activities for us - we had cake decorating, making frogs as well as lots of different games such as tin can alley, hungry hippos and a giant key board! The children had a snack and spent  time playing and exploring everything across three rooms. Time whizzed by and before long it was time for us to do a dough disco to all the residents. We do love a dough disco in Nursery! We then gave Kirsty two Gruffalo crumbles which we made the day before at Nursery. We hope that all the residents at Kidsley Grange enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed making them!!

Thank you to Kirsty and everyone at Kidsley Grange for making the morning so successful! We can't wait to come and visit again soon!!
