Our Nursery for 3 and 4 year olds

Welcome to our Nursery at Coppice Primary School! Here in our Nursery at Coppice, we believe in giving all the children the best possible start to their school life. Essentially, this is done by providing a safe, happy and friendly environment for the children.

Our pupil age range in Nursery is 3 to 4 year olds. We offer 3 hours of Nursery education on a daily basis. The activities and opportunities are exactly the same whether your child attends morning or afternoon.

We know that children learn most effectively through play. Our dedicated staff create an environment in which purposeful play can take place.  Our role is to observe, interact, enable and extend the children’s play in order that they gradually come to understand the world around them. Our curriculum is broken down into termly topics such as "Magical monsters" and "Splish, splash splosh". The children learn in our high quality inside area and newly developed  exciting outside area.

You are always welcome to pop-in and see what we do. The best way to see the Nursery is by visiting us and spending some time in the class seeing the children at work and play. Please ring our school office on 01773 712840 to arrange a visit!
