Remote Learning at Coppice Primary School and Nursery
Remote Learning Information
In the last year we have had to develop the curriculum and education that our children receive during the Covid-19 pandemic! Remote learning is a phrase that we never used to use and now it is so familiar to us all! This page shares all the documents and information related to Remote Learning which we hope helps everyone.
Please refer to the documents below, detailing information about our school's remote learning offer for children and parents/carers. These documents give full details on how your child can continue to learn in the event of a full or partial school closure.

As all classes (not Nursery) are only opened to a reduced number of children (only key workers and vulnerable) we decided to have a whole school topic each week which we feel will help the families working at home . This is what has been decided:
- Week 1 – Winter
- Week 2 – Animals
- Week 3 – Habitats
- Week 4 – Wellbeing week
- Week 5 – Adventures
- Week 6 – Food/cooking/healthy eating
In Nursery as we have to open to all children we have reverted by to our normal topic of ‘Magical Monsters’. We will continue to follow our medium-term planning to help us structure our learning opportunities for the children.

Staying in contact during Remote Learning - January 2021
We will contact all families working from home once a week - if you have two or more children at the school we have a rota for staff to follow so they take it in turns to contact you so you don't get more than one phone call a week!
You are able to contact the school office on 01773 712840 to speak to a member of staff if you have any questions or queries - we want to do everything we can to help you during this difficult time.
You can contact your child's class teacher via the class emails:
